BISHOP FRANK McLeod is the Pastor and founder of God's House of Prayer Holiness Churches in Auburn, Alabama and Camp Hill, Alabama. He is also founder and Presiding Bishop of Houses of Prayer, Inc., an organization for all denominational churches. Bishop McLeod, his wife, Jeanette, and their son Antonio (Tony) Joseph McLeod make their home in Opelika, Alabama.
He is a graduate of Deborah Cannon Wolfe High School in Shorter, Alabama and trade school operated by, then Tuskegee Institute. He obtained an A.S. degree from Southern Union (Opelika) and completed coursework toward a degree at Troy State University (Phenix City and Montgomery Campus). In addition to his work in the ministry, he worked for West Point Stevens (WPS) in management for 12 years, retiring from WPS He retired after 27 years of dedicated employment service. He now is able to devote more time to his own business of real estate (sales, rental, building development and investment).
In 1968, the Lord called Bishop McLeod to be saved; however, 14 years passed before he accepted that calling. He has been baptized in Jesus' name. He was later filled with the Holy Ghost. He served as Head Deacon Elder (now Bishop) Reginald Burton. At Tabernacle Church of God in Opelika, Bishop McLeod served as deacon, ordained minister and later, Elder, under Bishop Abraham Harris, Sr. In 1994, he assisted Bishop Dow Perry, Pastor of Shorter Church of God.
In 1996, God moved Pastor McLeod into his own work, where he became Founder and Pastor of God's House of Prayer Holiness Church, Auburn, Alabama. During that time, he was elevated to the office of Bishop in May 1999, by Bishop Dr. George F. Austin, Pastor of Pentecostal Faith Holiness Church, Tuskegee P.A.W. A new church building was dedicated in October 1999, thereby establishing the church in Camp Hill. This dedicated was the result of an outreach ministry that began in 1998. In July 2001, God's House of Prayer held its first convention, during which Bishop McLeod founded Houses of Prayer, Inc., where he serves as Presiding Bishop. Bishop Frank McLeod vision and goal is to bring thousands of souls to the Lord by bringing different denominational churches together.
